HR Capabilities

We have not yet used many of the HR features yet as we have only been using the product for a little over a month. That said they provide a very good amount of information and I look forward to using them in the near future.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are using RUN [Powered by ADP] for our entire organization. When combined with the ADP timekeeping software it saves me a tremendous amount of time processing payroll. In our previous system all our time was tracked on paper timecards and manually entered leaving us vulnerable to typos and other errors as well as being very time consuming. [RUN Powered by ADP] has also allowed me to do payroll from anywhere with an internet connection which in the days of Covid is priceless.

Pros and Cons

Easy to understand intuitive interface
Good integration with other products we use like Quickbooks
Excellent Customer Service and Support

Better integration between timekeeper and run, not all info carries back & forth
Easier to access supervisor approval for timecards and time off requests. I'd love to see that functionality added to the app

Return on Investment

By saving me time now it has enabled my office to move several other projects forward.

Employee Self-Service

This is an excellent feature. We save time and printing costs as employees now have direct access to their pay stubs and we no longer have to print them all. Also the ability to request time off through the employee access has been very helpful in making sure that requests make it to all the right people.

Alternatives Considered

We didn't look too deeply into many other products. In our evaluation process we found ADP to be a very good value for the money and having an excellent reputation made them our go to choice.

Likelihood to Recommend

For another small business like ours I would recommend RUN [Powered by ADP] 10/10 times. We have about 30 employees at the moment and only one location and it suits our needs just fine. It has taken a number of time consuming tasks off my plate including quarterly tax, workers comp and FMLA filings. However for a very small business with only a couple employees this program may be overkill, though you could grow into it. Also for a larger company with more employees scattered over multiple locations I think that there are other programs that would suit better.
