Overall Satisfaction with RUN Powered by ADP®
Although we don't use often, we have used all of those features. Have only used the HR HelpDesk once, and the person was very professional and knowledgeable. Have used ZipRecruiter twice. It was easy to use and we received a lot of applicants quickly. The handbook is nice to have, although based on one of my previous comments, I am not sure all of the policies are kept updated by ADP as, I think, it is supposed to do. I do like that employees can access the handbook at any time on their ADP mobile app., which helps us to regular updates without the need for printing.
Payroll, time off tracking, employee handbook & policies, employee tracking (performance, job history, etc..), recruitment (ZipRecruiter).
Pros

Cons
- Integrate support for time and attendance with payroll better vs. currently need to choose between separate support groups. Would be nice to be able to contact 1 client service group.
- When increasing an employee's pay, would love to have an effective date and reason field available. Currently, the system automatically populates the date as whatever the date the entry was made.
- ADP sales reps continuously shoot out emails to sell items we already have. They should become educated about a client before contacting. One year, they sent a message about supporting clients with a call to go over compliance issues to ensure their clients were up to date. I thought that was great! I attended the call and the person rattled off a bunch of "new laws" I needed in my handbook, yet, these critical laws were not anywhere to be found in the ADP handbook tool. The rep was just trying to sell me an upgraded HR package with ADP. That was a turn off! This past year, I've received countless invitations from different ADP reps to attend a similar "compliance review call". I will not fall for this again.
- We are trying to determine if the additional cost ADP carries compared to other small business payroll providers is worth it.
Employees are able to see their time, payroll, taxes, other employee information, the company handbook and request PTO using the employee access portal. I think this transparency helps build employee relations.
I prefer using my computer; however, I was traveling this past year and couldn't get the Wifi connection to work in the place we were staying and had to submit payroll quickly to meet our deadline. What a nice save it was to have the app to fall back on. I was able to log in to the app and close out my payroll before the deadline.
