Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Sage Accounting as our main bookkeeping software. It basically provides us with the financial reporting that we require. Keeping track of all vendors and client info and also use this to issue cheques and do our bank reconciliations. Pretty much every financial information related function would be linked to Sage Accounting.

My desktop version has served me well and allowed me to have multiple clients without additional costs and no annual subscription. Would be nice to have this again.

Very easy to navigate and more friendly to beginners.

Alternatives Considered

QuickBooks Desktop Pro, QuickBooks Online and Xero

Sage Accounting is good, but Xero is even more beginner friendly. And more affordable and also incorporates Hubdoc. I use Sage Accounting because that's what work is already using, and also for my own clients, I already have the old Desktop version which works just as fine.

I wish that there is a more cost efficient subscription for small companies. They may be bigger than 20 transactions a month, but not big enough to warrant the monthly subscription price for Sage Accounting 50 online without costing over $100 per month.
