Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Sage Intacct is used only for our subsidiary providing GL/AR/AP/CM functionality. SAP is used by our parent.
- Reporting is very flexible with ability to export any information easily to Excel.
- Drill down functionality is very valuable. Can go from a line in financial statement all the way down to an image of a bill.
- Adapts to user requests.
- Customer support has improved significantly over the past few years. Timely and well documented responses to support requests.
- Cash Managment areas don't have as robust of an ability to change field values as AR/AP i.e can't change an account after a cash deposit has been entered.
- Application of cash could be better. Can't apply adjustments directly in cash receipts, have to create a credit memo or adjustment then apply. Should be able to do it on the fly.
- Could have more flexibility in what rights a user has, particularly in the higher permission areas. In particular, our IT department has to set up, make changes and give rights to users. They don't need any other functionality. They are the only ones that can have System Admin but some other rights are tied solely to that user.
- Our month-end close is down from a week and a half to two business days.
- Headcount has not increased in 7 years.
