Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

We use Sage Intacct across the entire organizations. The driver for our decision to select Sage Intacct is the multi-dimension functionality. As a growing church that is adding campuses every year, all I have to do is set up a location dimension for them and we are ready to begin processing their information. So easy.

Pros

  • Multi-dimension structure - so important in being able to track a variety of data.
  • Drill down capability - so nice to be able to get to the invoice level from the top level
  • Love the audit trail so we can determine who made changes to things.

Cons

  • From a mobile device such as an iPad, I wish it was easier to see the detail before approving payments. I always have to switch to the full site to be able to see the detail, which is inconvenient.
  • On my Mac at home, it seems as if it is harder to get back to the approval screen when approving payments.
  • Has us allowed to keep financial staffing at the same level that we had when we were two campuses. Now we are eight. That allows us to spend more money on ministry instead of payroll.
This software is great for multi-site churches. Allows a new location to be added in under a minute. We are still relatively new to Intacct and I love that the system is so powerful and has so many features that we can grow into. We haven't used dashboards yet, but we will be when I return from the national conference. I see so many ways this will benefit us.
