Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

Sage Intacct is used as the accounting software at Chop Stop Inc. Sage Intacct has the capability to show how each corporate location performs since each location was set up as entities. It is a great tool for financial reporting purposes.
  • Cloud based so it's very accessible.
  • Entity set ups. For a company with multiple locations - these can be set up as entities. The performance of each location can be tracked without having to exit and log in to a different "book"/entity.
  • Robust system - a pro in the sense that there's always a solution or feature to every financial or accounting need.
  • Cost wise - it is expensive. For every customization or a feature outside the basic modules - there's a cost attached.
  • Robust system - it's a con because the features can be overwhelming. Depending on how technical you are, it is not 100% user friendly.
  • Customer support - you have to log a support case instead of a number to call hence not that accessible. You have to wait for a response - lead time could be a day.
  • Positive - the ability to track the performance of each corporate location at one glance
We subscribed to Vendor Payment services under the AP module. We have greatly benefited because time and effort is saved to cut and mail checks for payments.
There's no perfect software hence it is not a 10. In our case, the restaurant management software has integrated well with Sage Intacct. Depending on how technological savvy you are, I believe it can be easy or challenging depending on your needs.
Sage Intacct is well suited for multiple locations like 4 and up including corporate office with slightly complicated transactions. Sage Intacct is less appropriate for companies who have simple business transactions.
