Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
We use Sage for tracking our various receivables, payables, issuing invoices, as well as tracking customer data. We also utilize the report features to complete our monthly analysis. We have also implemented SaaS Intelligence with this software to automate some of our reporting metrics and utilize the Dashboard features to view multiple reports simultaneously.
Pros
- Provide detailed reports that we can drill down into the data.
- Issue invoices for our receivables.
- Track and pay bills.
- Credit card charge offs/reconciliations and adjustments.
Cons
- More customizability with the dropdown features based on individual roles.
- More automation when it comes to entering journal entries.
- Can be clunky to use search features.
- It allowed us to invoice more than 1,000 line items, which works well for SaaS companies with multiple revenue streams.
- We have issues with permissions that prevent multiple levels of management from approving or disapproving, which leads to segregation issues.
- Credit card charge-offs are fairly straightforward, allowing us to have a less manual process and save significant time in this area.
