Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

I use Sage Intacct for GL accounting and bank reconciliations. I touch many applications such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, General Ledger, and Reports. Sage Intacct assists in the ease of transparency for our company's accounting data. The ability to input the necessary data into the software is simplistic and smooth.

Pros

  • AP Bill Payment

Cons

  • Cash Reconciliation
  • Ability to batch payments easier - to be able to pick a date range instead of single day. Or to have the single day data remain selected when moving to another day.
  • Ability to batch payments automatically even across different companies.
I believe our organization has benefited from this automation. The automation is seen through several departments and helps with time management.
I have not used this area.

The Excel upload for journal entry is very smooth. When there are errors, the notification is very explanatory in the issue. The cash reconciliation needs to be able to select multiple items across days without having to click individually on each separate box. This is mainly for the undeposited to batch into one payment.
