Overall Satisfaction with Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Salesforce Marketing Cloud is used within my global organisation by some teams. The product addresses a number of business problems particularly around email marketing, customer journey management, segmenting of audiences, etc. It allows us to build automated campaigns to our contacts within salesforce which is good as it is connected then to wider CRM reporting and sales data.

  • Less time spent on connecting email to sales crm
  • Less time spent building emails

Salesforce Marketing Cloud is pretty flexible and has a number of options to support lots of different channels - I am not sure if we have access to all of these different elements but colleagues certainly enjoy those we use regularly. It can scale for very large organisations which is great as we continue to grow.
I have worked with all three providers across different businesses and seen the benefit of each one in different ways. It is good that Salesforce Marketing Cloud connects well with salesforce as a sales management CRM. Hubspot is a lot. more user friendly of an interface and takes less training/upskilling. Marketo looks clunky but has a lot of good functionality.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud is particularly not suited for when you want to make really rapid changes and personalisation to things, but it is well suited to tying your email marketing efforts specifically connecting them to salesforce sales cloud crm. It has some limitations with other integrations but is overall good for building automated campaigns if you put the time in to learn
