Overall Satisfaction with SAP Analytics Cloud

POC at this time, we have a strong amount of content that will find it's way to EOL, and are looking at migration path options.

Pros

  • Visualization
  • What-If Analysis
  • Intuitive engine for creating visualization of data

Cons

  • Lack of Query/Analysis, need to include WebI into SAC.
  • Unclear about Administration of content. CMC in SAC?
  • Migration of Dashboard content to SAC is limited to rebuild only in new tool.
Interface and integration with existing products is better than microstrategy, however, lacks behind MicroSoft.
Live Universe Connector boosts rating as it is a great functionality, short of that, native capability is almost non-existant.
Have not seen much of any indication of sharing outside of SAC.
If you liked Explorer/PoleStar, you will LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
I applaud the use of Explorer interface into HTML5, I wish SAP had converted it earlier to Explorer in BI enterprise, as it would have gained more momentum on-premise leading to SAC.
