Overall Satisfaction with SAP Analytics Cloud
We use SAP Analytics Cloud to create dashboards for project financials, inventory, and various financial statements. Before implementing SAC, there are reports that the users have to run it for several hours and then download it to excel. It takes too much time to do pivoting and summarize the data. Plus, if the data is huge, they encounter some excel performance issues.
- Real time data reporting from SAP
- Faster performance of report
- Ability to visualize data with multiple chart options
- It is not as intuitive in some aspects, like the way you subtotal in SAP is different in SAC. However, they are the same product.
- I wish there are more options. When you do right-click, it will give more options.
- It will help reduce manual effort of downloading and pivoting data in Excel. The person analyzing the report could spend more time analyzing rather than doing manual excel work.
- Faster transparency on data. At one glance the business has the opportunity to see on how the business is doing.

Since it is an SAP product, we considered it since it is already connected to our system without requiring a middleware.
SAP Analytics Cloud has more features with regard to visualization than Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management.
