Overall Satisfaction with SAP Analytics Cloud

We use SAP Analytics Cloud for global OPEX and revenue planning for one of our subsidiaries. In addition, we use this for retail reporting & dashboarding.

Pros

  • Integrates well with modern SAP source systems like S/4 or BW/4 HANA
  • Allows real-time data access
  • Good performance when accessed from international sites

Cons

  • Data export is tedious and not very flexible
  • No live connection to older SAP systems like ECC
  • Steeper learning curve for users than other dashboarding tools
  • Reduced maintenance cost thanks to automatic updates
  • Improved forecasting process
  • Simplified access control
SAP Analytics Cloud is easy to use once you learn it, but it is less intuitive than other competitors.
