Overall Satisfaction with SAP Analytics Cloud

We use it for live reporting based on bw4hana for core financials and billing and also we do mid term planning in SAP Analytics Cloud along with Outlook process. This data is further retracted back in bw/4hana for mtp vs actual reporting. There are multiple controls dashboard also built in SAP Analytics Cloud for grc compliance review.

Pros

  • Live data reporting
  • Seamless integration with s4 and bw4
  • Mid term planning is also very easy and scalable

Cons

  • In live reporting models I can't do runtime calculations
  • it lacks full automated report distribution and event-based scheduling, has volume limits on publications,
  • The mobile experience also has many unsupported features, such as drag-and-drop in reports and auto-complete search fields.
  • It has smoothed out the outlook process
  • Business users are now more comfortable in publishing there own dashboard
  • Reduced lot of manual excel works within FPNA TEAM
Afo was too slow for us . Building reports in SAP Analytics Cloud helped in rapid prototyping and quick deployment cycles with higher user acceptance
It's tightly integrated with these two technologies and we can directly integrate those in SAP Analytics Cloud
