Overall Satisfaction with SAP Analytics Cloud

Yes. We use the app for monthly forecasting and management reporting purposes

Usability is much better than AFO. Still need a lot more maturity.

As a tool it is good but lacks the maturity of BPC from calculation power, flexibility and overall large volume data handling capability.

The evaluation process on how we select tools is pretty much constant. The main reason that SAC was a good fir is that we are already on the SAP eco system and SAC is the logical choice for a cloud-based planning and reporting solution.

SAP Analytics Cloud Implementation

Implementation of the project on SAC was quite straight forward as the tool is very easy to use and well-integrated with other SAP systems

Change management was a big part of the implementation and was well-handled - The transport procedure in SAC is not as seamless as SOLMAN is and this was a learning curve for us. Once we were able to set a guideline, transporting changes became quite easy.

There was a situation when the import job to a Planning enabled model was failing, and the error message was not very clear on as to why. Then the support person provided us with the insights on the data limit that a import job can handle and the timeline by when this limitation would go away from the tool.
