Overall Satisfaction with SAP Analytics Cloud

We use SAP Analytics Cloud for business data reporting, planning and decision making, predictive analytics. Mainly for financial planning and budgeting. The reporting dashboards built over business data has brings in some great insights for the functional value streams to make data driven decisions. SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is well integrates with other SAP product data, BW and HANA making the reporting real time.

Overall SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is great tool but there is room for improvement. It is easy use but I heard people with non SAP background find it difficulty initially. The basic functionalities are easy to use where as predictive analysis, planning related workflows requires training. Sometimes we have observed there are performance related issues.
I would rate Tableau as number one choice due to intuitive, drag and drop and advanced visualizations. We can build highly customizable reports. Whereas SAP Analytics Cloud(SAC) got less customizable reports but excellent with SAP systems, strong in planning and budgeting tools.

SAP Analytics Cloud (AC) is best tool for SAP ecosystem products. It works pretty nicely for forecasting, budget planning and trend predictions. The integration with other SAP products makes the data real time. It has some challenges with connecting external data sources and also the visualizations can be improved especially some summary tables, statistical measures etc.
