Overall Satisfaction with SAP Ariba Procurement

Ariba is used by 30 Group Companies in 4 countries. We are using SysAid tools for issues.
  • The Sourcing tool is very well developed.
  • The integration with ERP is working fine.
  • Contract approval in parallel is a good advantage.
  • Guided Buying is not developed enough.
  • The P2P module is not users friendly as we hoped.
  • Ariba is developing every year with new functionalities but they need to develop the core itself. This is the reason for many technical errors.
  • SLP module did not follow best practices regarding the prequalification process.
  • For sure a positive impact for all modules.
  • We have spend visibility, faster-approved contracts and updated suppliers data base.
For Oil & Gas Industry Ariba is more developed compared with Coupa.

Ariba is a strong application with a strong team supporting it and we really appreciate this but there are rooms for improvement, especially as an user-friendly tool!
