Overall Satisfaction with SAP Concur
We use SAP Concur's Request and Expense Modules.
Request is used to encumber funds and issue cash advances. Expense is used for reporting on any cash Advances and reimbursing employees for their expenses.
This allows all our users to submit their expenses electronically/digitally and have access to their own expenses and have delegates act on their behalf. The mobile app assists with keeping their receipts organized while they travel.
- ExpenseIt using OCR to read receipts and create expenses for employees
- Allowing administrators to write audit rules that create alerts for our users.
- Audit rules are very powerful, but there is a lot more that can be done with them. More fields should be available for use, and more triggers. Request and Expense are both missing usability that the other has in audit rules
- More consistent vocabulary used throughout the system and it's modules.
- Better documentation, with more consistent vocabulary.
- Our employees are reimbursed faster
- The audit trail is more visible, if/why reports are returned or adjusted.
We used the old Ellucian T&E System before switching to Concur. IT was not as user friendly. But it was easier to integrate with Banner than Concur is.

Expenseit has been extremely helpful. Reporting intelligence has provided us with access to more accurate data.
Other than trouble with user adoption, most employees prefer Concur to our old system.
