Overall Satisfaction with SAP Concur
SAP Concur is used by all the employees to get the reimbursement for any of their expenses which one did during any business travel, or for purchasing any product or service for the project related to organization, or sometime for reimbursing the bills of computer peripherals which we sometimes purchase from online market, etc.
Pros
- Expense management for the national or international business travel.
- For reimbursing monthly expenses related to mobile phone bills, internet bills, fuel expenses, etc.
- For reimbursing the flight tickets and bills of medical checkups of new joiners.
Cons
- For a new user of SAP Concur, it becomes difficult to file the first reimbursement as that person is new to the application and probably, one needs to to go through the instructions to get used to it. So, user interface can be improved and could be tried to make more interactive. Other than that, it's all good to go.
- It makes the entire process of expense management crystal clear and thus helps in maintaining the trust of the employees, and thereby having good rapport of the company among the employees.
- It helps in detecting the duplicate bills, thereby saving lots of money of the company.
- It also helps in payment audits and thereby it helps in improving the overall process.
Till now in my professional journey, I have worked in three different companies although in the same sector which is Machinery Manufacturing, I have used only SAP Concur for reimbursement of my expense bills related to my flight travels, health checkups, mobile bills and internet bills. So, frankly, I have not used any other expense management tool other than SAP Concur, and I think it it the best expense management tool to date.
Although, I have not worked directly in integrating any ERP tool with SAP Concur, but as per my work experience, I can for sure say that integration of ERP tools like of Oracle, etc. with SAP Concur will definitely help in Cost Center Accounting for different project, Inventory Management, Procurement, Time and Attendance of employees, etc.
For the growth of any organization or for even a small team within a big organization, one needs to interact and know as to what is happening outside, and to know that, the organization needs to plan the frequent travel in an efficient manner and SAP Concur helps in that by having a proper expense management and bifurcating each expense into its proper category so that we can better idea as to in what categories we need to take care while using the organization's money.
SAP Concur helped me as an employees to file my expenses in a proper way without having any trouble, It clears shows as to what types of supporting documents I need to upload to file an expense of a particular type and because of this only, it also helps the admin to have least number of claims to get rejected because of document issue.
