Overall Satisfaction with SAP Concur
I used SAP Concur mainly for tracking expenses and verifying invoices in our ledger. Expenses were tracked for sorting into relevant cost centers and filing use tax. I would also look up invoices related to transactions in our GL for tracking amortizations and checking for errors. I would also be involved in daily postings of invoices from vendors and the reports generated by SAP Concur.
Pros
- looks cleaner than SAP ERP 6.0
- easy to pull up PDFs of invoices
- has more intuitive commands
Cons
- several commands are still a bit hard to find like having to choose what type of document when searching for an invoice; searching for a PO was different.
- It's automated payments and remittances are big improvement over SAP ERP.
- It's good at tracking documents and pulling up 3rd party attachments.
We used SAP ERP and then SAP Concur for tracking expenses and making payments.
SAP Concur definitely felt better than QuickBooks. That's the only comparable non-SAP product I've used in accounting.
