Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We migrated from SAP ECC and other non-ERP legacy systems to SAP S4 HANA and with this, we improved the performance of our system due to in-memory database. Real time processing of data is a big value add to our organization. SAP also offers different Cloud deployment options which helps organizations to choose the model that suits their requirement.

Real
time data processing and in memory database improves the performance of the system. It also integrates with SAP BTP and Analytics Cloud. It also provides multiple deployment options like public cloud or private cloud. But due to limited customization the migration of data to SAP HANA Cloud for complex objects is challenging.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud and Oracle E-Business Suite

Cloud First strategy in our company was the main reason for us to move to SAP HANA Cloud. We are currently migrating our ERP (SAP ECC, Oracle etc) to SAP HANA Cloud. It's a Greenfield implementation and we are migrating the data from different ERP platforms to SAP HANA Cloud.

Real time data processing and in memory database improves the performance of the system. It integrates well with SAP Analytics Cloud and with other SAP platforms like SAP Business Technology Platform. Multiple deployment options make it flexible to deploy as per organizations need. It is not suited for small organizations which cannot afford the high implementation costs.
