Overall Satisfaction with SAP HANA Cloud
We are using HANA Cloud in AI Material Search solution
Pros
- SDA connection to On-premises db
- supports connection from multiple subaccounts
- connection from on-premises to HC is easy
Cons
- access from other global account
- after activating HC service, it starts billing even though we didn't load any data
- it will be better if we can connect from HANA studio
- we used for btp usage app and results are promising
- we are using for material search application
- Cost is little bit high
speed wise its way faster than postgres and integration and UI for doing some db operations are out of box, there is no need of any client tools
