Overall Satisfaction with SAP Master Data Governance
I have been using SAP Master Data Governance from the time I was at Nationwide organization [until] now at Cardinal Health. SAP Master Data Governance is being utilized across the entire corporation to visualize and model data during consolidation.
Pros
- The self-service product access for business users is a great thing that we relish from SAP Master Data Governance. I have been in a better situation to understand business data without involving IT skills.
- Improving data integrity by identifying data duplicates and errors.
- Improving transparency by offering statistics that enhance confidence to us when making amendments [to the] large volume of data.
Cons
- With the free vendor customer support team and SAP community channels, I hardly encounter issues while consolidating data with SAP Master Data Governance.
- Central data consolidation, governance, and mass processing save business users time in our corporation.
- No multi-data repositories are needed to perform all data consolidation procedures, hence reducing operational costs.
- SAP Master Data Governance allocates analytical listing of business procedures data in the dashboard.
I used Informatica MDM at Alliance Data Card Services for a few months before shifting. This was the worst master data management tool that I have ever tried. It lacked capabilities for global enterprise companies.
