Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Use public cloud in the finance and supply chair domain, to streamline process and resource optimization

Pros

  • standardized processes
  • UI is clean
  • extensibility is free of issue from upgrades

Cons

  • pricing
  • workflow in visualized process flow will be a lot better
  • Visibility of process and ease of change
  • reduced total cost of ownership only if the users have multiple roles, or else the advanced price category is quite costly
The user interface is rather robust and clean, in my opinion, the performance (response time) still needs some work as sometimes it takes a good 30 sec for the interface to load up. The extensibility is a good design concept and it reduces the amount of re-work during upgrades. I think the data refresh cost model should really be re-considered as most of the ERP doesn't charge anything for data refresh (from Production to QA).

Cloud and scalability will be the key as it reduces the amount of overhead to maintain ERP system and scale out as usage grows.
Not an important factor for us at the moment, need to wait until it becomes more mature.
