SAP SuccessFactors works for us
Overall Satisfaction with SAP SuccessFactors
U of T implemented SAP SuccessFactors in 2018, replacing disparate recruitment, learning, and performance solutions. The user experience using multiple solutions was fragmented, and data transfers were time consuming and minimized the ability to have an integrated, comprehensive, employee experience.
SAP SuccessFactors recruitment, learning, and performance were implemented concurrently in 2018, with U of T working towards the implementation of Employee Central. The three modules are used across the enterprise, with a particular emphasis on appointed employees, numbering upwards of 12,000.

Pros
- Streamlines the screening process by providing a carousel
- Integrates with learning modules so a full picture of the employee training and development experience is possible
- Provides an intuitive user interface
Cons
- Performance module - the request for additional feedback from colleagues is fragmented; allowing the form to only be sent to one commentator at a time results in delays in obtaining feedback from multiple individuals
- It has helped us eliminate duplicate workflows resulting from disparate software solutions
Implementation was incredibly intensive, as we had concurrently undertaken to implement ServiceNow for HR for the first time.
U of T is a long-time SAP client, and shifting to a non-SAP product would have been very difficult for our community.
