Overall Satisfaction with Scale Computing HC3

We are using Scale Computing to reduce physical servers and better management of our ressources. Redundant between 2 sitesm Simple and fast. Currently converting all my DC and share to put on the scale...

Pros

  • Simple
  • Fast
  • Always update for better use of the HC3

Cons

  • UI is too simple and not always giving the right info
  • Possibility to have 1 main interface to manage all the Scale/cluster
  • Nest Virtualization
Support is Amazing, Simple, Fast, always a solution... Just wow!
  • Less purchase of single use server
  • Less energy used (Green)
  • Physical / software backup solution not needed if you have enough disk space on your scale
  • Less intern support time if something happens compare to a physical single use server.
I used to work a lot with VmWare in the past from my old workplace. Since I started here I was a bit septic of what ScaleComputing was able to do. And seriously for the price and value its another game from VMWare. Scale is better for a tiny amount compares to Vmware!. Fast, simple, intelligent and the support is AMAZING!.
All the virtualization without Nesting (a VM in a VM) is great with Scale. We don't have many tools either to control the server so we are always with a small 5% that we can't be autonomous.
