Overall Satisfaction with Scale Computing HC3

It is being used across the whole organization. It has simplified our server/networking strategy by eliminating the need for a SAN and other networking equipment. In doing so, it has also improved our reliability and efficiency. This also led to a reduction in cost and downtime.

Pros

  • Management interface is very intuitive.
  • Easy to migrate servers.

I only had to call support a few times, but they were very helpful and friendly. The few times I had to call support were during the initial deployment and the engineers were very responsive and knowledgeable.
We run business critical servers and databases on Scale and they perform very well.
  • We have saved on costs of hardware for network equipment and SANS
  • Support contracts for that hardware.
  • Simplified architecture.
I have evaluated some products from Dell and Nutanix but I decided to purchase Scale because of the positive reviews I read on Spiceworks.
It is well suited for small to medium businesses. It is very easy to use and set up. After purchasing it, the Scale support team assisted me in getting it up and running in no time and the support engineers were very knowledgeable. The HC3 allows us to grow and add more servers in the future if needed which makes it a great investment.
