Schoology LMS is the best for in-person and remote learning
Overall Satisfaction with Schoology Learning
We use Schoology Learning for a learning management system. Student access classes, assignments, tests, and communicate with teachers through the platform.
Schools and teachers can decide to use Schoology or Google Classroom.

Pros
- Assessments - Much more interactive and have more grading options than Google Forms
- Auto-rostering - We are able to use Infinite Campus to automatically roster classes and there are no extra steps
- Family/Guardian access - Schoology allows families to have a sign in and see student grades & work.
Cons
- Intuitiveness - Some sections are clunky and need extra people to help figure it out
- Student view - You can view pages as students, but can't really experience sample tests and such
- Auto rostering
- Assessments
- Parent Interaction
- Student engagement is trackable
- Rostering and grading communicates with our SIS
- Google Classroom, Canvas and Blackboard Learn
As mentioned before, Schoology has a lot more capabilities than Google Classroom. Granted that Schoology is an actual LMS and Google Classroom is not. Assessments are better; guardian views and information; communication with our Student Information System; Better organization of files and assignments.
I find Canvas & Blackboard difficult to navigate and understand.
