Overall Satisfaction with ScienceLogic SL1

Overall very satisfied with the implementation.
We use it as an event based monitoring tool. SL1 has replaced multiple monitoring solutions we used in the past. We had individual solutions for ticketing/alerting, performance management, etc...now it is all handled SL1 in an efficient matter. The automation is a great time saver being able to auto-close tickets when alerts clear themselves after a time.

  • Time handling improved thanks to automation
  • Somewhat improved visibility but there are times it can be hard to pinpoint what's alerting
I believe it is well suited for all environments. We utilize it in a shared environment, so good separation for the most part in that regard. There are limitations.
