Overall Satisfaction with SendPulse

Sendpulse is used to send pushes to relevant visitors and to capture the attention of those who leave quickly. We also use it to send broadcasts to those that aren't on our email list or never really engaged with us. It has been decently effective. SendPulse helps keep users top-of-mind when we publish new blog posts.

Pros

  • Nice interface to create and preview push notifications
  • Accurate previews and ability to save and schedule in advance

Cons

  • More simplified pricing around email, SMTP, and other offerings--one could be duped into thinking they're all rolled into one
  • Ability to add more than one website on free plan
  • More push notification subscribers
  • Greater reach and audience engagement, enhancing the quality of our marketing
PushEngage, OneSignal, and even Subscriber are quite decent. SendPulse had the best initial free offering and pricing model. The user interface is quite decent as well, although, if you're totally new to push it can have quite a learning curve. I selected SendPulse also because of its numerous website connection options and the ease of that process.
SendPulse is well suited if one has a basic website and wants to build a push notification, test out the lead source, and then make the larger investment after. SendPulse has a generous free plan.

SendPulse is less appropriate when running push notification sequences. It can do this, but it's not my favorite for such sequences.
