Overall Satisfaction with SharpSpring

As a digital marketing solutions provider to the automotive sector, we evaluated many email marketing automation platforms before we decided on SharpSpring. Looking back, it was one of the smartest decisions we made.

We previously had two different platforms for email marketing and a separate CRM. Now with SharpSpring, we have a truly integrated system with email marketing and CRM on a single platform.

The SharpSpring email marketing automation offers us the ability to execute campaigns from basic email blasts to sophisticated email drip campaigns for our automotive clients. We love the fact you can add more features and capabilities to a client's campaign over time with relative ease. The level of activity tracking related to our client email campaigns are helpful. Reporting capabilities are solid and highlights what's important. Our team loves the SharpSpring platform.

  • Their CRM (Contact Manager) doesn't get enough good press; it's robust.
  • We've spoken to some of their senior support folks; they offer both technical advice and recommendations to enhance our email marketing strategy.
  • The initial on-boarding process was not as clear or consistent as it could have been.
  • Most of the account managers we worked with were great; we wish we could not have them change so often.
  • I understand it has to do with the tax law, but having SharpSpring billing each client a minimum amount each month is always a chore to explain.
  • SharpSpring solidified our email service to ensure it was very profitable.
  • SharpSpring bolstered our email offerings by providing capabilities such as activity tracking from email recipients and multi-tier email drip campaigns.
SharpSpring was the best fit for us and met the most of our overall needs.

IBM Watson Campaign Automation was overly complex and way more expensive than SharpSpring.

HubSpot has a good CRM, however, we thought their email marketing was not as strong as SharpSpring.

We didn't think Constant Contact would well handle all the sophisticated email campaign needs that our clients wanted.



SharpSpring is well suited for any digital agency or business that wants to run anything between basic email blasts to sophisticated email marketing automation drip campaigns. It handles scale for many agency clients or subsidiaries of large companies very well.

If you're interested in just basic email blasts, SharpSpring may be an overkill.
