Overall Satisfaction with Shift

I've been a Shift user for 5+ years now. It's fast, reliable and provides me access to all of my Google emails and associated Workspace tools in one convenient interface. Plus, I can load and login to Shift from any desktop (Win or Mac) and enjoy the same interface and access. And since Shift is self-contained, it does not affect the system that I'm accessing it from (no User level or login footprints). Finally, Shift has plugins for 100's of other products and platforms to easily integrate my most used browser based tools. I've recommended Shift to many colleagues, and they love it.
  • Shift provides a seamless, single interface that brings together all of my email accounts and productivity tools (both Google Workspace and 3rd parties)
  • It allows me to install, login and access the same emails and tools from ANY desktop in the world, securely, and without leaving a footprint of my User information or online working sessions.
  • The browser-based UX/UI design of Shift makes it intuitive and fast (especially with recent memory handling improvements).
  • Shift needs to leverage AI / ML to provide analytics and automation for my emails, workspace apps and productivity tools.
  • Add process automation, content generation and info searching across environments.
  • Built-in content generation capabilities.
  • Built-in text to speech (reading content), and speech to text features (input content).

Shift offers me better overall email and productivity tool integration. The browser-based environment is intuitive. Outstanding integration with Google Workspace tools. Excellent overall UX/UI. Setup is fast and secure via SSO login. Overall a great value. The company delivers on their marketing motto to "Get Shift Done!"

When on the road, I can often download the Shift client and login from any business center desktop computer or colleague laptop. Since it is self-contained, I can securely access all of my email and tools (integrated Google Workspace and 3rd-party plug-ins) without having to re-configure and setup each time. Once done, I can delete Shift without any trace of my session or accounts. Super useful for a mobile global executive.
