Overall Satisfaction with Shift

Being able to log in with multiple Gmail accounts was the primary driver for using Shift. Keeping all accounts consolidated helps keep everything tidy and generally makes the process more productive as a result.

Pros

  • Consolidation of accounts. Keeps everything tidy without having to search for browser tabs.
  • Ability to add an array of apps outside of email. You can build out workspaces to keep work further organised into logical units.
  • Being able to import accounts and passwords from Google Chrome makes for an easy setup/adoption.

Cons

  • Honestly nothing!
  • Increased productivity. Less time spent logging in and out of email accounts.
  • Organization of workplace tools seeing as though we seem to use a lot of them.
We have the following integrated: - Multiple Gmail accounts - Messenger - Whatsapp - ClickUp - Outlook. One note: I occasionally find the Outlook app to be buggy. At times, the email interface can be unresponsive, and I have to click on the 'Calendar' icon to navigate to my email.
I use it as a solopreneur when I am mindful of wasting time. Hard to measure just how much more productive it has made me; however, I know it is significant.
Much of the usability stems from the integrations you have; however, the left navigation bar is easy to use.
I have considered using Rambox as the pricing model is more appealing. I do consider Shift to be quite expensive.

Yes

I believe that Shift is suitable for everyone, even those with only one email account. Just being able to group email, along with Messenger, WhatsApp, and other apps, together is, in itself, a productivity hack. I have already recommended it to some of my other business owner friends.
