Overall Satisfaction with Shopify
Shopify is our primary platform for selling our products online. It runs our entire online presence. It's used by our entire organization. We sell products, manage discounts and subscriptions, and run our website all off of Shopify (and Shopify 3rd-party plugins). Overall it's a great tool, as we are able to easily manage our inventory, track customers, and integrate with other platforms to further enhance Shopify.
- Inventory management
- Reporting on volume / profit
- Customer tracking
- Support of app integrations with other platforms.
- Overall the interface can just be difficult to navigate. I know there's a LOT in Shopify, but the interface just feels overwhelming and not intuitive.
- Standards and clarity on what apps will work with what versions so customers know the dangers before installing it.
- We've had a lot of success with Shopify particularly when combined with some great customer-centric apps that really help track customer conversions and customer actions.
- Because of a lack of support from Shopify for third-party apps, we have broken the site a couple of times when we installed something that broke another app.
