Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Sigma Computing is used by our BI and analytics team for ad-hoc reporting and analysis. They also use it deliver scheduled reports in Excel format to business users. Sigma Computing allows us to quickly create reports and perform analysis.

Alternatives Considered

Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server and Microsoft Power BI

Much easier to set up and use. Scheduling report delivery is much more capable. Lower barrier to use from a self-service perspective.
