Overall Satisfaction with Sigma Computing

We are currently using Sigma for KPI reports and Histograms to determine how select models are performing as well as certain brands.

Pros

  • switch functions
  • bar graphs

Cons

  • Input tables
  • More visualizations such as Sankey chart
  • display a toolbar at all times
  • Too early to tell. Just started using Sigma

Sigma still has a long ways to go compared to Power BI or Tableau. There needs to be more functionality features added to Sigma.
It handles filters very well but navigating in Sigma is not intuitive. You have to do a lot of clicking around in order to say for instance, add a parameter. If you're going to be a tool that grows you have to make it more user friendly and intuitive. You shouldn't have to click everywhere in order to get to where you want. Also, you should have the option to add input tables and create input tables on the fly. That function is not available.

    Hi there - thanks for leaving us feedback! Our input tables feature just entered open beta, so it's possible you tried it out prior to it being available for your org. We also recently added a Sankey option. Let us know if either of these are not working for you.
