Overall Satisfaction with SiteGround

SiteGround was being used to host different clients' WordPress websites at the request of the client.
  • Management of users
  • Access to SQL
  • Website file browser
  • WordPress hosting is horrible
  • Issues pertaining to memory allowed on shared hosting
  • PHP integration doesn't always work
  • Websites are extremely slow on shared hosting
  • Ease-of-use for clients (I suppose)
  • Resulted in us having to transfer several clients from SiteGround to other platforms

Personally, I wouldn't suggest SiteGround and encourage people to find other providers. I find that their services are really not at par in terms of the needs of most companies that want to host a website. These days with WordPress you are required to install a lot of plugins, and with SiteGround this can cause many issues with reference to memory and other problems. In fact, I had a special "tweak" cheat-sheet that I would keep around just to get around some of these issues.
