Overall Satisfaction with Siteimprove

Our organization utilizes Siteimprove primarily for quality assurance checks and testing, as well as verifying compatibility with WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) and modern SEO standards and enhancements. The application has become our go-to tool for ensuring our website is up to date on the latest best practices and maintaining a seamless user experience across all devices and platforms.

Pros

  • Dashboard enable easy glance at key metrics and stats
  • Detected issues contain reliable and detailed data
  • Reports are cusomizable with key information

Cons

  • Navigation is unclear because of too many options
  • Accessibility checks oftentimes provide false positives that need correction
  • Accessibility scores have increased dramatically from 80 to over 90 due to Siteimprove's detailed tracking. This created an improved user experience for our members
Navigation is intuitive and easy to locate important information needed to implement updates and changes as necessary. The visualization of data via graphs and pie charts enables quick access to the most important action points that allow us to make changes and enhancements to our website with speed and efficiency.
Siteimprove is superior to Ahrefs due to it's clean and intuitive user interface and seamless navigation. Ahrefs contains a more robuts data set but the information is often difficult to locate and take action on because of how it's displayed to users. Siteimprove has less data than other vendors we've used and considered such as Ahrefs but the visualization of the data is vastly better.

It contains detailed data on errors and areas of improvement, which requires a dedicated team of engineers or developers to implement the necessary changes. The scale of the application can be a drawback at times for smaller or teams with staff that lack the bandwidth to implement updates and improvements.
