Overall Satisfaction with Skype for Business (formerly Lync)

We currently use Skype for Business to correspond with each other. I use it to communicate with my reps and they use it to ask me questions. It has solved a lot of issues especially now that we are working from home and cannot see each other or talk to each other in person.

Pros

  • Shows when you are online or busy
  • Has emojis to make chatting fun
  • Has the ability to change you status

Cons

  • the only thing is maybe register when we are on a call
  • Positive because everyone in the company can use it.

It is well suited for people who are in a large company and work from home as well. It works because there may be a time when I need an answer quickly and chatting someone is way faster than sending an email. I can't think of any scenario where it is less appropriate.
