Overall Satisfaction with Slido

I use Slido in my presentations to keep people engaged and to break up the conversation. It's a great way to use different parts of people's brains and keep them interacting with the material. It's so easy to use and actually makes the presentation much more fun!

Pros

Cons

  • Resetting it sometimes was confusing, so when I gave the presentation twice, the old info was still in there.
  • I feel like students were more engaged in the material, so they learned more during the workshop. This way I had less follow up questions.
  • Kahoot!
Kahoot feels more like a kids game and I've used it for fun events, it doesn't feel appropriate for a professional setting or workshop. It also doesn't integrate right into Google Slides as a seamless part of the presentation.

It's great for a workshop, where you want to engage your audience by asking a question, having them type in an answer for all to see, or for having polls or quick quizzes. Depending on how much you want your audience to participate, it's great to keep them involved .
