Overall Satisfaction with Slido

Its quite an engaging platform wherein we connect as a team for running QnA, quiz etc remotely and it helps us with creating a safe environment for the team members to ask questions and overall increases the participation of the team. I would say its quite a fun tool and quite relevant specially in remote working scenarios.

Pros

  • Polls : it helps with creating multiple types of polls (multiple choice, rating etc)
  • QnA Sessions : Attendees can submit questions , upvote or downvote questions and this helps in prioritising the important ques
  • Real time analytics helps track number of votes, poll response, questions, highest voted Questions etc

Cons

  • If there are high volume of questions, managing and filtering inputs / questions can be difficult
  • I feel breakout discussions or reactions emojis can be introduced to make it more interactive.
  • Batch actions like bulk deletion, bulk deletion of inputs, categorisation as per topic etc is missing
  • Increased participation
  • Creating a safe space to ask questions
  • Tracking what matters to employees via their reponses / questions
Slido is comparatively more intuitive wherein UI is quite easy to use and follow. Also it has broad mix of poll types available which allows to run multiple types of polls. It has more intergration compared to other alternatives and reporting is quite detailed too. And, I love the anonymous options it has to offer as compared to other. Although, others are great product too, its just that i am used to Slido

Yes

Slido can make meetings and events more engaging and interactive. Its a good tool for organisers to run live polls, QnA, quiz for the audience / employees at one go. Since submission of responses and questions can be done anonymously it promotes participation and creates a safe space for employees. It also integrates well with Google workspace tools and microsoft office too.

I think based on the experience and the usability of slido for us, i do not think any change in evaluation is required. I would rather keep it the same. Slido is one of the best software in its category and meets almost all of the requirements, hence no change required.
