Overall Satisfaction with Smartlook

We use Smartlook across our whole marketing and design team as an addition to Google Analytics. It provides qualitative data such as user recordings connected with events and funnels, heatmaps and clickmaps, most of which you can't get from GA. We use it regularly to validate our new designs and hypotheses. We also have a complex sales cycle with attribution problems and Smartlook helps us evaluate our marketing campaigns with qualitative data.
  • Unsampled recordings and data
  • Top-notch support and account management
  • Events and funnels connected with user recordings
  • Occasional bugs. But they are not left unanswered whenever I report them.
  • A bit clumsy user management, it's supposed to get better in the future
  • The qualitative data is invaluable
It's a must for any marketing analyst, UX designer or CRO specialist. Other tools might be cheaper if you have high traffic and want to retain data for a long time but it is because Smartlook doesn't sample the recordings. With the exceptional support on top, it's totally worth it.
