Overall Satisfaction with SmartRecruiters

We use SmartRecruiters for the whole organization and SmartRecruiters has been helping the organization in scaling up really well. The overall organization is being overwhelmed with candidate management and ensuring everybody had the right visibility but not leaking confidential & personal information to everybody. SmartRecruiters also help us in managing candidates' historical interviews (if any), duplication and also link creations for external candidates to apply for. Overall would recommend the tools for anybody that wanted to have better scalability and also tracking to manage the overall organization's talent acquisitions.

Pros

  • Candidate information management, i.e. managing duplications, historical reviews, contact management
  • Identifying leads, processing, and also analytics to better understand the overall talent
  • External candidate filtering and pipeline talent management

Cons

  • The UIs are too much and tend to be very confusing
  • SmartRecruiters doesn't manage the governance too well, I often get confused about what role am I looking at
  • Doesn't have a great reviewer tracking methodology, i.e. reminders
Overall from SmartRecruiters, it took a lot of time to be adjusted but after a while, you will find the scalability of SmartRecruiters is easy and can be maintained to catch up with the future needs. One note that I would put is that SmartRecruiters is not the best tool for customization hence if you are looking for more customization, SmartRecruiters might not be the one.
The UI is too much and tends to be very confusing in finding the necessary menus. Even in the detailed candidate detailed page, it has too many things and is too confusing.
  • Less time in managing candidate data
  • More trace and analytics tracking
  • External and internal data integration
Scaling and getting each talent as the directory is a very effective tool to use but if you are looking for a simple tool to use and distribute - this might not be the one that you are looking for.
