Overall Satisfaction with Smartsheet

We use it share documents, create schedules for land entitlements, and list documents required for submittals/applications.

Pros

  • Gantt Chart
  • Conditional Formatting
  • Sharing

Cons

  • Fonts, colors, and other formatting.
  • Exporting pdfs for printing - formats can be way to small to read.
  • Need for a quick how to message for clients.
  • We have specifically won work because of our use of Smartsheet
  • We are more organized because of Smartsheet
  • We are able to share updates to projects more easily with the use of Smartsheet
Dropbox - Smartsheet does not do as good of a job sharing files, not as obvious as Dropbox. Google docs has live editing features I wish Smartsheet had instead of refresh.
Smartsheet is well suited for scheduling and file sharing.
