We used Smith.ai Live Website Chat as the chat software and answering service for our website. It frees up internal resources to fully focus on other things rather than having chat as a background task that can interrupt at any time.

Came down to pricing. Smith.ai Live Website Chat did not have the same level of customization and support as other alternatives but there are enough customization and tools that it was clear it would solve the problems and at a good price.
