Overall Satisfaction with Snagit
Snagit has been my 'go-to' capture software for over 21 years. Simple to use, it does the job of capturing selections or scrolling open windows. I can confirm or tweak capture size as needed. Snagit lets me edit the contents later, add notes, join (paste) other capture(s), grab text (editable, copyable), and save as a .snag(it) file or other formats including PDF.
- Dynamic selection(s) capture
- Grab text (most useful)
- Draw a temporary line, rotate image to that vertical or horizontal line orientation (straighten)
- Quick to copy activity, chats, researched items, product info
I've been a Snagit user for several years. It does what it claims to. If not broken, nothing (or very little) to fix. I like it.
