Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use SolarWinds Pingdom for monitoring internet uptime at our client facilities as well as to keep track of outages of their internet properties as well. We receive SMS and email notifications promptly when service interruptions are detected and can manage the frequency and method of those notices. It has worked for us for several years now without interruption and is a core part of our monitoring platform.

We continue to use SolarWinds Pingdom because it hasn't failed us. If it did, we'd change to other providers, but we have no reason to do so.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is great for monitoring website uptime and IPs associated with commercial internet services. We don't use it for anything else, so we don't have a sense of what it isn't good for in this regard. We are pleased with the service and plan to continue using it for the foreseeable future.
