Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor

We do not have the system installed in our organization, but I have had the experience of working with it with some clients, which have it addressed in the entire infrastructure area which makes the monitoring and workload for the workforce much more optimized.

Pros

  • Customizable server monitoring.
  • Assignment of infrastructure units.

Cons

  • Apache server monitoring.
  • AWS cloud monitoring.
  • Savings have been obtained in terms of training for each of the managers by area.
  • Saving time for analysis and monitoring of the infrastructure of the organization.
Despite the fact that they have compatible minor characteristics, the organization has chosen SolarWinds for being the most complete tool and compatibility with customized tools in the portfolio.
SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor is recommended for medium and large organizations where there is a wide infrastructure and it is worth investing in this type of tool to optimize the monitoring of servers in the organization.

Hi Adrian, Thanks for the feedback on SAM! It's great to hear that your clients have leveraged the system to improve their delivery times and lighten workloads. I want to let you know that starting in Orion Platform 2017.3, your ability to leverage the cloud with SAM expanded by adding support for Microsoft Azure accounts to existing Amazon Web Services (AWS) support. You can now use Azure or AWS accounts or a mixture of both. For more information, you can check out our documentation on the release: https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/Success_Center/SAM/Content/SAM-Whats-New-Cloud-Monitoring.htm Thanks, Rachel Frnka Product Marketing
