Overall Satisfaction with StackAdapt

We use StackAdapt's programmatic buys for awareness campaigns where we need affordable CPM's. This is more focused on finding the right eyeballs for impressions than direct-response conversions. Testing multiple tactics (display, native, audio, CTV) for the same audience segmentation is great. Also, their geofencing capabilities are some of the easiest to set up and launch (though you have to watch out for adding too many constraints for a small geofenced area).

  • Ease of self-serve platform
  • Low minimum ad buy requirement
  • Fast customer support responses (and helpful)

Cons

  • Budget can spend quickly if you don't enable pacing guardrails
  • Low conversion rates
  • Too many mobile ad placements if you don't limit in the settings
  • 10x lower CPM than similar LinkedIn Ads
  • Tight geofencing to promote a short-duration conference
  • Spending budget too quickly when pacing is not explicitly set
Easy self-serve platform with menus that make sense. Though some reporting menus are hidden in a way that isn't immediately obvious. I even had a rep tell me this once - and if he hadn't, I probably wouldn't have found the custom columns and reporting metrics that I needed. Though the customer support team is crazy fast at answering questions, and even providing advice to improve campaign performance.
StackAdapt has an easier self-serve platform than JamLoop, where you can also buy programmatic CTV and display banners. Though they lack audio placements, which is another cross-channel tactic in StackAdapt to reach the same audience with multiple formats. Comparable CPM rates on CTV, and customer support on both is similarly strong.

StackAdapt's programmatic buys are great for a quick awareness campaign to reach the most eyeballs. Solid user segmentation from 3rd party sources that is available almost immediately.

The platform is less proficient at converting users, though I've never had sufficient volume to test if this works better for enterprise-level clients with more conversion data.
