Overall Satisfaction with StreamWork
I use StreamWork as a client-facing project manager that needs to share deliverables with clients in a way that both meets our security needs, and creates an easy and quick experience for the client. StreamWork creates an easy way to share multiple versions of a deliverable, provides tools to make feedback very clear and allows clients to share the review link with internal stakeholders as needed.
Pros
- Version management
- Multiple options for sharing and approval routes
- Clean and simple UX
Cons
- Allow for more subfolders to better organize large campaigns
- Create a new layout for the main workspace to allow for better organization for large agencies with many simultaneous projects
- Allow changes to be made to approval process after initiated, and allow external users (clients) to be added to approval process
- Better client experience in receiving and reviewing deliverables
- Can more easily share multiple deliverables at once without worrying about file sizes or security requirements
Compared to the other tools that I have used, StreamWork offers the most flexibility for internal and external needs. Workamajig was my favorite for centralizing a creative brief and creating a clear flow of approvers internally, but it never worked as expected with external users. Frame.io is only for videos, and is very similar to StreamWork in many ways. PageProof had so many issues and complications that ultimately I avoided using at all costs.
