Overall Satisfaction with Norton Security Premium
Symantec Norton Security Premium was used across a sister company that I was supporting. That product was used to protect all the company endpoints. I was inheriting that product from previous IT team.
- Very good product for an end user and IT users. Easy to deploy, configure and use.
- Great GUI interface - easy for understanding
- Online backup storage and ability to manage your passwords
- Licensing
- During my experience with that product (mid-size company) - SNSP is SOHO product.
- No central management mechanism to my knowledge
- During my experience, I didn't have any security issues on my endpoint devices. In the age of daily cyber attacks to different companies, this is a very positive thing!
- The only negative thing that I had is time to manage all endpoints at one time.
- Pricing could be negative but it depends on what you can choose for that money...
User-friendly interface (it's not just AV and users who were interacting with the product), performance, resource usage (most of the computers were not very fresh and that factor was very critical), efficiency, it shouldn't be just sitting on a PC - it should protect it, what was perfectly done with that product.
Using Norton Security Premium
50 - Mostly call center agents in a financial company. Mostly communicating with customers, working with content in a system collection DB, and web searching for specific information.
1 - Tech specialist on a standard sysadmin position
- Antimalware
- Secure web surfing
- Backups
- Password management
